The Queen's Medical Center

More than 165 years ago, Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV dedicated their time and resources to establish a hospital that would care for the health needs of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawai‘i. Today, The Queen’s Medical Center carries on the mission of its Founders by delivering high-quality and compassionate health care services. QMC has the only organ transplant program in the state of Hawai‘i and is the state’s first and only Level One Trauma Center.

Queen’s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital

Queen Emma had a longstanding commitment and dedication to improving the health care of the people of Hawai‘i. She inspired two cousins who bequeathed land in North Hawai‘i, Makahikilua, to build a much-needed medical facility to carry on a legacy that will serve generations to come.

Today, philanthropy continues to be integral in enabling the best possible care for the people of Hawai‘i Island. There’s no better way to express your support for Queen’s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital than making a gift toward helping to ensure excellent patient care for Hawai‘i Island residents.
