Visitor Policy Expands at QNHCH

2 people visiting patient

Effective, Wednesday, September 14, two adult visitors per patient per day will be allowed to visit at Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital.  Visiting hours for inpatients are 9 am – 6 pm, seven days a week.

Visitors must be over 18 years of age and are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination.  The two visitors per patient must be the same two for the day.  Visitors must still be screened upon entry and are required to wear a hospital-approved procedure mask.

Visitors will continue to not be allowed for isolation, infusion, and rehabilitation patients.

“We recognize the importance of family in the healing process and believe we can safely support a more patient-centered care environment by allowing two visitors who have undergone our screening process,” said QNHCH President Cindy Kamikawa.
