The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oʻahu announces the opening of its Same Day Surgery Center.

The Same Day Surgery Center is designed to create a healthcare campus in West Oʻahu with essential services for West and Central Oʻahu residents to receive safe and clinically effective care closer to home.

First day of operations of the Same Day Surgery Center will be Thursday, June 13.

“This expansion underscores our commitment to the communities we serve,” said Robin Kalohelani RN, MSN/Ed,CCM, Regional Vice President for Operations, Central and West Oahu, Associate Chief Nursing Officer. “Instead of having to commute to town, we are able to provide high quality care to our ohana who call the West side of Oʻahu home. Multiple specialties will be offered to our patients in our new space, from ophthalmology to orthopedics. Ultimately, it is our goal to improve health outcomes and increase the life expectancy of Native Hawaiians and other vulnerable populations in West Oʻahu.”

The new Same Day Surgery Center will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
