The Queen’s Health Systems marked a major milestone this past Friday as Joan Marie Lactaoen of Waipahu became the recipient of the 400,000th COVID-19 vaccine dose administered across Queen’s.
Queen’s has been providing vaccinations through its vaccination sites at the Blaisdell, The Queen’s Medical Center – Punchbowl, The Queen’s Medical Center – West O‘ahu, Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital, Molokai General Hospital, and its mobile clinics. In addition, Queen’s has been making vaccines available in its inpatient units and outpatient clinics such as at its Physicians Office Building pharmacies and Queen Emma Clinics. Queen’s has also administered vaccinations through home visits in an effort to make vaccinations as accessible as possible.
