The Hawaiian Islands Trauma Symposium is an annual two-day educational symposium held in Honolulu, Hawaii. The program offers cutting-edge, evidence-based presentations and discussions directed at a wide variety of current issues in trauma care and providing optimal care of critically injured patients across our island communities. It features a multidisciplinary faculty of local and nationally renowned leaders in the ever-evolving field of Trauma. Participants include a multidisciplinary mix of health care professionals from across the State of Hawaii — pre-hospital providers, physicians, nurses, therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, trauma specialists, trauma technicians, trauma program personnel, and other health care professionals. Held since 1996, the 2020 symposium was canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to soon gathering with each of you who play an essential role in Hawaii’s unique trauma system and the care of Hawaii’s injured patients, whether kamaaina or malihini.
The Trauma Symposium includes over 20 exhibitors. Industry exhibitors interested in future events may contact Christina “TJ” Donayri at cdonayri@queens.org.
