The Queen’s
Neuroscience Institute

At The Queen’s Neuroscience Institute, our team is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art medical care for patients with a wide range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions and diseases. Our specialists provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary, patient-centered care in both an acute hospital and outpatient setting.

When The Queen’s Medical Center established the Neuroscience Institute (NSI) in 1996, our mission was simple: to provide Native Hawaiians and all the people of Hawai‘i with the best neurological care possible. Today we continue to fulfill this mission by integrating cutting-edge patient treatment with innovative neurological research.

We are Hawai‘i’s only nationally-accredited Comprehensive Epilepsy Center (NAEC Level 4).

We are the first and only certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in the state.

We are Hawai‘i’s only designated Parkinson’s Foundation Comprehensive Care Center.
