HONOLULU – The Queen’s Medical Center has erected a triage tent outside of its emergency department to help care for the influx of potential COVID-19 patients in need of medical services.
The triage tent will be used to assess stable patients with symptoms of COVID-19 in order to determine the level of care needed. The tent will also help separate potential COVID-19 patients from non-COVID patients.
The tent will be used during high volume periods normally between 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Asymptomatic individuals should refrain from visiting the tent. In addition, the tent is not administering vaccinations or conducting walk-up COVID-19 testing. COVID-19 vaccinations on Oahu are being administered at:
- Blaisdell Center Pikake Room
- The Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu
For more information on our mobile vaccination clinics and those located at our Physicians Office Buildings (Punchbowl and West) with convenient locations and hours, please visit covid.queens.org/vaccine or call 808-691-2222.
