Visitor Information

The Queen’s Health Systems is committed to the health and safety of our patients, caregivers and community. Our #1 priority is you.

Molokai General Hospital will be allowing up to two (2) visitors at a time, with protocols in place to maintain a safe environment.

The following visitor guidelines will be in place:

  • Visiting hours will be from 8:30 am – 8:30 pm.
  • Those with symptoms of respiratory illness, such as fever, shortness of breath or cough, will not be allowed.
  • Visitors are no longer required to wear masks, unless required by the patient’s specific illness (transmission-based precaution). Visitors with respiratory symptoms should not come to the hospital
  • Visitors must be 12 years of age or older.  Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times
  • For everyone’s safety, visitors are not permitted for COVID patients (exceptions may be made for beginning of life and and end of life care)
  • Additional visitors may be allowed for obstetric, pediatric and newborn patients on QET10.
  • Private practices leasing space in Queen’s facilities may make their own masking policies for their offices

Patients with a scheduled appointment or procedure at an outpatient clinic/department may continue to be accompanied by one caregiver.

The safety of our patients and caregivers remains our highest priority.  We continue to proactively follow Federal and State guidelines to implement precautions to ensure we are a safe place to deliver and receive high-quality, compassionate health care to all of the people of Hawaii.

Internet Access

For your convenience, Moloka‘i General Hospital is pleased to offer you and your guests free Wi-Fi in patient rooms and all public areas of the hospital. Connect to MGH PATIENT WIFI to log in and view instructions and usage restrictions.

Dining

The Dietary staff takes great care in providing a variety of delicious and healthy food options for patients and visitors. Cafeteria hours for visitors are 7:00 am – 10:30 am (breakfast), 10:30 am – 3:30 pm (lunch) and 3:30 – 4:30 pm (dinner). 

A Coffee Cart is available each morning for coffee, tea, fruit, muffins and more. The cart is available to patients, visitors and staff.
