Citing the need for increased COVID-19 testing in the community due to the current surge, Queen’s Island Urgent Care’s (QIUC) Kakaako location has become a dedicated testing site for COVID-19.
Symptomatic patients are able to walk-in and get tested. Please bring an ID and insurance card. Testing can also be done for return to work, school, or travel purposes for a fee. The minimum age for testing at this location is 6-years old.
“We recognize there is a high demand for COVID-19 testing and we are doing everything we can to make testing as widely available as possible so our community can take advantage of our services,” said Jill Hoggard Green, PhD, RN, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Queen’s Health Systems. “We are always looking for more ways to ensure our community has access to the health care services they need especially during this surge of the pandemic. We are also continuing to ask everyone to get vaccinated and get a booster shot if they are eligible. We know that is one of the most important ways to protect us from getting infected with the virus”.
Queen’s Island Urgent Care-Kakaako is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. For more information call 808-735-0007. NOTE: Because the Kakaako location is a test-only site, if a patient needs to see a medical provider, please go to the nearest emergency department or visit one of the other QIUC locations.
Queen’s Island Urgent Care operates five sites around Oahu including Ewa-Kapolei, Kahala, Kapahulu, Kakaako, and Pearl Kai.
