As the Labor Day weekend approaches, Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital would like to remind everyone of the simple ways to stay safe.
“Wear a mask, wash your hands, avoid crowds, assure physical distancing, and stay home if you’re sick,” says Cindy Kamikawa, President, Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital. “It may be tempting to get together with friends and extended family during the upcoming holiday weekend, but we ask people to take precautions to protect themselves, their family, and their neighbors. Although presently we do not have any COVID patients in the hospital, we know how easily this virus can spread so we urge people to not drop their guard. Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital is prepared to care for all of our community’s needs.” The staff has put together a short video to help remind people about the 6-foot rule, one of the keys to preventing the spread of this virus.
