The Queen’s Health Systems to Host Flu & COVID-19 Vaccination Community Event

Share

The Queen’s Health Systems will host a flu and COVID-19 vaccination event for the community on Sunday, September 25, at two locations on The Queen’s Medical Center’s Punchbowl campus.

The clinics will be open from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. No appointment is needed. Doses will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Those interested in receiving a flu shot only can enter the Physicians Office Building (POB) 3 driveway via Lauhala Street and remain in their vehicle for their vaccination.

For those looking to receive both a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccination, or a COVID-19 vaccination only, a clinic will be available in the Queen’s Conference Center located near the corner of Punchbowl and South Beretania streets. Free parking will be available in the POB 3 parking structure or any other Queen’s parking garage.

ADA accommodations for vaccinations are available in the Arthur A. Ushijima parking lot (entrance off Punchbowl Street).

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine bivalent booster, which was recently approved by the FDA and CDC, will be available. In addition, the Pfizer monovalent vaccine will be offered for first and second doses.

The high-dose flu vaccine, recommended for those 65 years of age and older, will also be available.

Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered only to those 5 years of age or older. Please bring your ID and insurance card, although insurance is not required for vaccination.
