The Queen’s Medical Center has begun the process of taking down its triage tent located in the ambulance bay of its Punchbowl hospital. The Queen’s Health Systems has been carefully monitoring COVID-19 data and has seen a steady decline in the number of people, both inpatient and outpatient who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The COVID-19 triage tent at The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oʻahu is also expected to be taken down this month.
“Although we are seeing positive signs that this current surge is subsiding, we must continue to be vigilant in protecting ourselves and our friends and family,” said Jason Chang, Chief Operating Officer of The Queen’s Health Systems and President of The Queen’s Medical Center. “That means wearing a mask in public, maintaining physical distancing, and most importantly getting vaccinated against COVID-19.”
Queen’s COVID-19 Infoline (808-691-2619) remains operational. Callers can speak with a Registered Nurse to get their questions answered, as well as inquire about services offered for current and new patients, including telehealth and non-emergency surgeries.
In addition, Queen’s COVID-19 vaccination line (808-691-2222) is also available for those looking for information or have questions about the vaccine.
