HONOLULU – As we celebrate the New Year together, The Queen’s Health Systems6610 would like to offer some simple tips to help keep you and your loved ones safe during the New Year’s celebrations and reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure.

  • Get vaccinated, including a booster! If you have been vaccinated, get a booster if you have not done so already. If you are unvaccinated, please consider receiving your first dose as soon as possible.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Practice physical distancing.
  • Wash your hands.
  • Avoid large crowds especially when indoors. Keep your gatherings very small, ten people or less.
  • Stay home if you are sick.

“To prevent more COVID infections, Queen’s encourages the community to remain vigilant as we enjoy the Holiday season together,” said Jill Hoggard Green, PhD, RN, President and CEO of The Queen’s Health Systems. “Our highest priority is the well-being of our patients and caregivers and we remain committed to ensuring we are a safe place to deliver high-quality, compassionate health care to all of the people of Hawaii.”
