July is National Sarcoma Awareness Month and each year about 16,000 new cases of sarcoma are diagnosed, with nearly 7,000 people succumbing to the disease each year.

Dr. Shane Morita, Medical Director of Surgical Oncology at The Queen’s Medical Center and a certified member in surgical oncology with the MD Anderson Physicians Network talks about what you need to know about sarcoma in this segment on the KHON2 News.
