Ultrasound

An Ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging technique used to visualize muscles, tendons, and internal organs to examine their size, structure, or any pathological lesions. Ultrasound imaging or ultrasound scanning involves exposing part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body. These images are captured in real-time, showing the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels. Obstetrical ultrasound provides pictures of an embryo or fetus within a woman’s uterus during routine and emergency prenatal care.
