Physical Rehabilitation services for The Queen’s Health Systems includes inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (SLP). Our licensed professionals provide services to reduce pain and improve patient mobility and function. Queen’s offers acute care rehabilitation services including occupational, physical and speech therapies, as part of our patients’ care plan. All services are initiated by a physician’s order and are available 7 days a week for adult inpatients.
Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on facilitating participation in everyday living. Outpatient Occupational Therapy Services are provided for persons seeking to restore prior levels of function following injury, illness or disease. Queen’s provides these services in both in inpatient (hospital) and outpatient settings.
Speech-Language Pathology Therapy focuses on a patient’s rehabilitation focusing on treating speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. Queen’s provides these services in both in inpatient (hospital) and outpatient settings.
Physical Therapy focuses on optimizing movement to improve human function and is performed by doctorate and masters level trained physical therapists.Queen’s provides these services in both in inpatient (hospital) and outpatient settings.
