The Queen’s Medical Center at Hale Pūlama Mau is a specialized acute care unit located at the Kuakini Medical Center. This care unit is operated by Queen’s physicians, nurses and support staff through a partnership with Kuakini Medical Center. This location features 12 private patient rooms, and 14 semi-private rooms and allows space for group recreational and leisure activities.
Our Team
HPM prides itself on the continuity of care provided by an interdisciplinary team, with dedicated physicians and nurse practitioners. Our dedicated Care Coordination team consists of skilled health professionals who work together to provide you the very best care possible. The health care team includes Doctors, Registered Nurse’s, Nurse’s Aides, Unit Clerk, Dietary Services, Environmental Services, Behavioral Health Services
During Your Stay
In addition to the continuity of expert health care at Hale Pūlama Mau, this location offers Expressly For You, a personal service dining offering a selection of menu items is available breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This in-room meal order and delivery system are based on the long-standing practice of table-side service in restaurants. For this bedside-style personal service, the host/hostess takes the patient’s meal orders at their bedside daily.
